European stock markets settled mixed on Monday, as investors focused on an coming European Central Bank meeting and the political repercussions of London's weekend terror attack.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 gained 12.53 points or 0.35 percent to end at 3,579.55. Germany's benchmark index DAX gained 158.02 points or 1.25 percent to end at 12,822.94.
On the other hand, UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 dropped to 21.87 points or 0.29 percent to close at 7,525.76. French benchmark index CAC 40 declined 35.52 points or 0.66 percent to end at 5,307.89.
