Blessed with Kids
Married couples with no children and both spouses contributing equally to the household income may need very little life insurance. Though the death of either of them would be emotionally catastrophic; the other can presumably survive on his or her own income. Still, there could be a strain on the purse. It could become difficult to bear bigger expenses like mortgage or rent payments.
And what if the survivor is not working? In such a scenario, insurance money can provide the much needed support. The emotional loss would be massive but uncompensatable, least you can do is ensure that the one you love doesnot have to worry about the finances.
Therefore, each of you should probably buy a modest amount of life insurance to protect your better half. Think of it as an investment, which can provide support to your family incase of any unforeseen event.
