[04:35:57 PM] => SS : A rally up to 3600 looks definitely possible. However, past trends indicate that highest returns are made on specific stocks than on index.
[04:38:09 PM] => prashantraidu : I have invested 3 lacs in Index fund around 3350 levels. Should I get out and wait till there is clarity on the war front or should I ride it out if I am able to handle a loss of up to 10%?

[04:48:04 PM] => SS : In the short term, the sector will be very volatile. However, the future is very promising for the sector. It is the only sector that looks likely to report double-digit growth rates on a sustainable basis.

[05:02:51 PM] => SS : US markets are more uncertain than our markets. The US corporates are struggling to keep their heads over the water. A clear indication of an economic turnaround is very essential for the markets to become stable. Nasdaq looks very choppy.

[05:08:04 PM] => SS : The cement sector looks exciting. Ambuja is definitely one of the better bets in this sector.

[05:10:21 PM] => SS : The poor tax collections will force the govt to borrow more. Thus interest rates at best will maintain the current rates.

[05:11:29 PM] => SS : Interesting stock with good brands. However unimpressive management caps the upside.

[05:15:18 PM] => SS : I don�t track Zicom. Tata Honeywell is definitely a very good stock. Though it is in security systems also, that part of its business constitutes a very small portion of its total revenue.

[05:17:40 PM] => SS : Jupiter has been consistently declaring very good results. Frankly I have not looked at the stock in great detail.
[05:18:12 PM] => Vinod : Happy Pongal sir,is Godrej consumer products a good buy at current levels. I want to buy 2000.
[05:21:06 PM] => SS : As stated earlier, Godrej Consumer is an interesting company with very good brands. However, it needs a little aggression from the management to really get the company noticed on the stock exchanges.

[05:23:58 PM] => SS : The current volatility in the markets, largely due to rolling settlements, will mean that technical analysis for day trading won�t be as effective.
[05:25:49 PM] => Vinod : Can I ride on the open offer for Godrej Consumers for 100 Rs.
[05:26:15 PM] => SS : Buy back by Godrej Consumer is through the open market route and for a maximum sum of Rs 10 crore. Thus any major gains due to the buy back, I would doubt.
[05:34:27 PM] => Sanjay : Why HCL Tech is not moving up? Is it facing some strong resistance? Also please give your views on CMC? Any further valuation left for it?
[05:35:31 PM] => SS : HCL Tech is according to rumours likely to declare a profit warning. Hence it reacts on every rise. As far as CMC is concerned its an excellent company. After the take over by the Tatas, the results of two quarters might not be as exciting due to cleaning up of the balance sheet. However subsequently profits are expected to surge.

[05:36:39 PM] => SS : Thermax is a decent stock to buy at these levels. Its in the process of restructuring and the results will start showing in the near future. Besides it�s a cash rich company and hence a buy back also cannot be ruled out.
