[04:50:31 PM] => imageidea : When to sell Hinduja TMT & what price?
[04:50:51 PM] => SD: Ride the rally with a trailing stop-loss. I.e. hike your stop-loss level in consonance with the rise in the share price.
[04:51:15 PM] => imageidea : When to sell Infotech Enterprises & at what price?
[04:51:27 PM] => SD: Ride the rally with a trailing stop-loss. I.e. hike your stop-loss level in consonance with the rise in the share price.
[04:52:06 PM] => swan202k : What is the effect of recent issues in Gujarat on Indian economy?
[04:52:22 PM] => SD: As a born Gujarati, I wish it does not have much impact on my beloved state. It does tarnish Indias image in the eyes of the potential foreign investors. The tourism can be hit and the hospitality sector would feel the immediate pinch.
[04:53:21 PM] => aabhhi : Could u tell me about Financial Techno a software co. listed in BSE only doing presently, how r its prospects in near future. Is it worth buying at these levels, if yes what is the upside u looking in what time frame.
[04:53:33 PM] => SD: Sorry, do not track this scrip.
[04:57:42 PM] => ayanad1 : Mr. Dawoodani how you see the market from here on? I have cash with me so which companies you suggest to invest into considering medium term horizon of 3-6 months as i see our market is a trading market currently. Your views please?
[04:58:24 PM] => SD: Invest in quality scrips, with no scrip taking up more than 10% of your corpus and no sector over 20% of your corpus. Do not chase scrips inordinately. Stagger your buying and stipulate a stop-loss. Investment (and trading) requires more discipline than research.
[04:59:06 PM] => chitah12345 : Does the Budget gives permission to increase FII holding in Bharti ( telecom sector)??How you see the stock to move in near to medium term?
[04:59:47 PM] => SD: FII holding does do - per se - make a scrip good or bad. This scrip is an infant on the bourses and is yet to see the myopic and the euphoric times. With such a limited history, it is difficult to predict its future using Technical Analysis.
[05:01:03 PM] => joyghosh100 : Please give me your views on TVS Electrons, Karur Vysya Bank and SKF Bearings. I have identified these as value stocks and wish the will appreciate 100% in near future. Do you have any other quality stocks to share as an Individual small investor I feel scared for not having the right informations of what the speculators think in Mumbai. Regards.
[05:01:49 PM] => SD: If the undertone remains bullish over the next few months, then such offbeat scrips are likely to outperform the SENSEX by miles. With all details available on the net and covered by the mass media, I do not think that distance is a handicap any more.
[05:06:46 PM] => Myiris : For a comprehensive analysis on the Union Budget, please log on to www.myiris.com to download.
[05:13:46 PM] => Ayan : When you said some offbeat shares to perform great which scripts you meant. Please share some with us....
[05:14:07 PM] => SD: Offbeat scrips mean those scrips that have great fundamentals, have a decent parentage, good professional management and immense potential. These are under-valued and under-priced scrips but are often illiquid. Institutional and FII interest would build up only after these scrips cross some threshold level.
[05:14:17 PM] => It would be prudent to allocate 15 % of your corpus to such scrips.
[05:14:29 PM] => Ayan : Sir, What is your view on Bharti Tele??
[05:14:51 PM] => SD: Have discussed above.
[05:15:01 PM] => Smallinvestor : How will valuations of RPL/RIL affect post merger?
[05:15:25 PM] => SD: Wed now be tracking one scrip instead of two!!! I think the longer-term impact is going to be positive.
[05:15:46 PM] => Ravi : How is VSNL, MTNL and Moser Bear looking at current levels?
[05:16:02 PM] => SD: Okayish
[05:16:15 PM] => Ravi : Pls share with us some scrips which u r researching now.
[05:17:00 PM] => SD: They are too many to be shared.
[05:24:53 PM] => Ravi : Can u suggest some good companies in IT enabled sector.
[05:25:05 PM] => SD: Hardly anything at the current levels.
[05:25:24 PM] => Deval : Sir, what is your view on geometric & infotech enter @ current price level? Is it still worth investing or should wait for reaction?
[05:26:02 PM] => SD: Id rather wait.
[05:26:17 PM] => ssl : What do u think about Apollo Hospital, Infosys, Wipro, SAIL at this levels?
[05:26:43 PM] => SD: SAIL defensive, Infosys & Wipro tentative, Apollo Hospitals aggressive.
[05:27:16 PM] => Ayan : Sir, how you see Reliance capital as financial sector companies are again started to be favourite?
[05:27:37 PM] => SD: A potential dark horse
[05:29:03 PM] => Ravi : You can still share with us some worth looking by us also?
[05:29:55 PM] => SD : Some undervalued scrips in auto, pharma, media and of course offbeat scrips.
[05:36:19 PM] => Myiris : Thats the end of the chat session for today.
[05:36:57 PM] => Myiris : Our thanks to Salim Dawoodani for sparing time to come on the chat session.
[05:37:12 PM] => Myiris : Thank you all for logging on.
[05:38:21 PM] => Myiris : Our next chat session is on Friday. Hope to see you then...
[05:41:06 PM] => Myiris : Its bye from us for the time being.
