Orchid Pharma, an Indian pharmaceutical company based in Chennai, has received a EU GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certification on its APl manufacturing facility located at SlDCO Industrial Estate, Alathur, Kancheepuram.

The facility was inspected in November 2017.

Orchid Pharma, formerly Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals, is an India-based pharmaceutical company. The company is involved in the development, manufacture and marketing of various bulk actives, formulations and nutraceuticals.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.35, or 4.94%, to trade at Rs 7.44. The total volume of shares traded was 69,093 at the BSE (10.01 a.m., Tuesday).
