NTPC, the country's largest power producer on February 18 announced that Unit-2 of 800 MW capacity of Gadarwara Super Thermal Power Project has successfully completed trial operation and consequently included in the installed capacity of NTPC.

With this, the total installed capacity of NTPC and NTPC group has become 52110 MW and 64875 MW respectively.    

Shares of the company gained Rs 4.05, or 4.08%, to settle  at  Rs 103.40.  The total volume of shares traded  was  25,68,5800 at  the BSE (Thursday). The scrip has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 113.70 on Feb 19, 2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 74.00 on Mar. 23, 2020.
