KPR Mill, one of the largest vertically integrated apparel manufacturing Companies in India, has announced the successful commissioning of its new 42 million Garments production capacity at Chengapally, Tirupur district, Tamil Nadu on November 21, 2021. With this the total Garment manufacturing capacity will increase to 157 million Garments per annum.

"Strategic plans have always been driving the growth of KPR and we hope that this expansion shall position us to meet the growing market opportunities and strengthen the bright prospects of KPR," the company said.

KPR Mill’s net profit jumped 115.23% to Rs 2,422.2 million in the quarter ended September 2021 as against Rs 1,125.4 million during the previous quarter ended September 2020. Sales rose 27.39% to Rs 11,539.7 million in the quarter ended September 2021 as against Rs 9,058.5 million during the corresponding quarter last year.

 Shares of the company gained Rs 2.25, or 0.46%, to trade at  Rs 489.30.  The total volume of shares traded  was 14,650 at the BSE (11.23 a.m.,Wednesday).
