Shares of Shilpa Medicare, a research-led global integrated pharmaceutical company, advanced over 4.5% today after the pharma firm announced launch of India's First Women intimate cleansing spray under the brand name "SwatchShil" and shall be available in Jasmine and Floral Fragrance in 100ml Spray pack.
"SwatchShil" intimate Cleansing Spray is a Soap-free and alcohol-free solution, which is ideal for the Women intimate area, helps in maintaining the optimum pH level and avoids vaginal discomfort and effectively maintain intimate hygiene.
Shipla's "SwatchShil" presented first time in India in an innovative 'Bag on Valve' spray canister for hassle free usage - 360-Degree rotation, easy to apply in all possible direction, angle, and position.
"SwatchShil" has differentiated advantage of hands-free application for enhanced utility and ease of use unlike current products available in the market. While the market size of intimate hygiene is near about Rs. 800 million, owing to the niche and urban presence, "SwatchShil" will give Shilpa an entry with differentiated products into rapidly growing Women intimate hygiene products segment.
Shares of Shilpa Medicare are trading at Rs 386.15, up Rs 17.15, or 4.65% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 3:19 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 392.75 and low of Rs 368. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 73,957.
Currently, the stock is trading down 44.23% from its 52-week high of Rs 692.45 and above 60.69% over the 52-week low of Rs 240.30.
