Shares of Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL) DHFL, a private sector housing finance company surged nearly 5% intraday on February 26 after the company said it had filed an application with the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) for the submission of the resolution plan of Piramal Capital & Housing Finance.

Pursuant to the receipt of no objection from Reserve Bank of India as per Insolvency and Bankruptcy Rules, 2019, the DHFL administrator has filed an application for submission of resolution plan of Piramal Capital & Housing Finance (PCHFL) with NCLT's Mumbai Bench, the company said.

Shares of Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL) are trading at Rs 19.80, up Rs 0.90, or 4.76% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday (1.10 p.m).

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 19.80 and low of Rs 19.10. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 349,500.

Currently, the stock touched its 52-week high of Rs 43 and 52-week low of Rs 8.40 on Dec.14, 2020 and Apr.01, 2020 respectively.
