Genus Power Infrastructures, a part of USD 300 million Kailash Group on Thursday reported a 69.54% rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ending Dec.31, 2020.

The company has earned Rs 285.33 million in the third quarter compared with Rs 168.30 million in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

Revenue of the company for the quarter dropped by 37.31% to Rs 1,680.28 million compared to Rs 2,680.33 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

Total expenses for the December quarter declined 38.34% to Rs 1,490.26 compared with Rs 2,416.81 million in the same quarter last fiscal.

Genus Power Infrastructures EPS has increased to Rs 1.24 in December 2020 from Rs 0.73 in December 2019.

Shares of the company declined Rs 0.5, or 1.36%, to settle  at  Rs 36.30.  The total volume of shares traded  was  114,546 at  the BSE (Thursday).
