Indian equities continued to fall  for the third day on Wednesday. At 13.50., the Sensex was trading down 1,188.23 points or 3.89% at 29,320.86.  Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 353.75 points or 3.94% at 8,613.30 with 44 components falling.

Indusind Bank  (30%), Bajaj Finance  (15.51%), Kotak Mahindra Bank  (13.33%) and Axis Bank  (12.74%) were the major losers in the Sensex.

On the other hand, biggest gainers in the 30-share index were ITC  (2.95%) and Tata Consultancy Services (2.60%).

Market breadth was negative with 336 advances against 1,739 declines.
