Indian equities bounced back on Monday snapping earlier losses. At 9.42 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 53.35 points or 0.15% at 35,924.83 with 18 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 2.05 points or 0.02% at 10,793.70 with 24 components falling.

Biggest gainers in the 30-share index were Tata Motors (1.23%), Tata Steel (1.01%), HDFC Bank (0.93%), ICICI Bank (0.74%), Infosys (0.71%), and Hero Motocorp (0.71%).

On the other hand, NTPC (1.65%), Power Grid Corporation Of India (1.24%), Coal India (1.02%), Larsen & Toubro (0.99%), and Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (0.71%) were the major losers in the Sensex.

Market breadth was positive with 825 advances against 445 declines.
