Indian markets ended flat on Friday. At the close, the benchmark 30-share index, BSE Sensex declined 26.87 or 0.07% at 35,871.48. Meanwhile, the broad based NSE Nifty climbed by 1.80 or 0.02% at 10,791.65.

Biggest gainers in the 30-share index were Tata Motors (2.86%), NTPC (2.27%), Mahindra & Mahindra (2.01%), Dr Reddy'S Laboratories (2.01%), Maruti Suzuki India (1.76%), and Hero Motocorp (1.65%).

On the other hand, Kotak Mahindra Bank (3.71%), Reliance Industries (1.11%), H D F C Bank (1.11%), Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (0.84%), Tata Power Company (0.45%), and Housing Development Finance Corporation (0.35%) were the biggest losers in the Sensex.
