Indian equities bounced back on Friday snapping earlier losses. At 12.44 p.m, the Sensex was trading up 709.03 points or 2.09% at 34,710.18 with 27 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 213.00 points or 2.08% at 10,447.65 with 46 components gaining.

Biggest gainers in the 30-share index were Mahindra & Mahindra (5.96%), Maruti Suzuki India (5.32%), Bajaj Auto (4.79%), Kotak Mahindra Bank (3.72%), and I T C (3.51%).

On the other hand, Tata Consultancy Services (3.13%), and Wipro (0.18%) were the major losers in the Sensex.

Market breadth was positive with 1,703 advances against 442 declines.

State Bank Of India topped the value chart on the BSE with a turnover of Rs. 1,570.28 million. It was followed by Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (Rs. 405.72 million), Tata Power Company (Rs. 382.04 million) and Bajaj Finance (Rs. 315.35 million).

The volume chart was led by State Bank Of India with trades of over 5.94 million shares. It was followed by Tata Power Company (5.31 million), Spicejet (2.35 million) and Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (1.35 million).
