Reliance Communications (RCom) and its subsidiary, Reliance Telecom, have today reinstated Bank Guarantees aggregating Rs 7.74 billion with the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), four weeks ahead of the last date of Sep. 10, 2018 as granted by the Hon'ble Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT).

The reinstatement of the BGs ensures that RCom's license and spectrum value of Rs 113 billion stands fully protected, and RCom is fully compliant with the guidelines of NIA 2013 and NIA 2015.

The company's asset monetization programme of approx.  Rs 250 billion for sale of MCNs, Tower, Optic Fibre and Spectrum is fully on track, and will be completed expeditiously. The first tranche of Asset monetization proceeds has been received last week.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.19, or 0.97%, to trade at Rs 19.68. The total volume of shares traded was 9,220,110 at the BSE (11.59 a.m., Monday).
