Indian equities traded flat on Thursday erasing earlier gains. At 9.51 a.m, the Sensex was trading down 16.60 points or 0.05% at 35,628.80 with 18 components falling. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 4.30 points or 0.04% at 10,774.20 with 25 components gaining.

Major losers in the 30-share index were Tata Motors (3.41%), Bajaj Auto (2.02%), Infosys (1.92%), Tata Steel (1.44%), Bharti Airtel (1.17%), and Wipro (0.74%).

On the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra (1.49%), Reliance Industries (1.31%), Maruti Suzuki India (0.62%), I T C (0.40%), Kotak Mahindra Bank (0.38%), and Dr Reddy'S Laboratories (0.32%) were the major gainers in the Sensex.

Market breadth was negative with 734 advances against 660 declines.
