Virgin Atlantic Airlines extends strategic partnership with TCS

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, and Virgin Atlantic, a leading UK-based global airline, has extended its strategic partnership for a further five years.

TCS and Virgin Atlantic began working together in 2004 as part of Virgin Atlantic's ongoing strategy to invest in operational efficiencies and innovations to help the company grow its market leadership. The partnership with TCS has seen extensive improvement and transformation of Virgin Atlantic's technology infrastructure to support Virgin Atlantic's key business objectives.

Shares of the company gained Rs 16.05, or 0.53%, to trade at  Rs 3,065.85.  The total volume of shares traded  was  9,857 at the BSE (10.01 a.m., Wednesday).
