The construction arm of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won orders worth Rs 12.66 billion across various business segments.

The buildings and factories business has bagged orders worth Rs 9.28 billion. An order has been bagged from a reputed government client to construct 284 Residential towers of G+3 floors under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana Scheme in various locations of Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. The scope of works include design & construction of civil structure, architecture and MEP works for 13,314 Units to be completed within stringent timelines.

The business has also received additional orders from various ongoing projects.

Power Transmission and Distribution business and Transportation Infrastructure business an order from the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) worth Rs 3.38 billion has been bagged by Power Transmission & Distribution Business to be jointly executed with Transportation Infrastructure Business.

The project involves design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of traction & power supply works for Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ). This order has been secured against stiff competition from other major multi-national companies.
