Bajaj Corp commences commercial production at Assam plant

Bajaj Corp, a FMCG company engaged in hair care category, has commenced commercial production at its newly set-up plant at Plot No. 63-64, Brahmaputra Industrial Area, Village Silla, Mouza Sila Sinduri Ghopa, Assam.

The company has commenced the commercial production with effect from March 15, 2017. 

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 60.37% to 14,300 compared with 22-day average volume of 36,082.

Bajaj Corp is one of India's leading producers of hair oils. The company is a part of the Shishir Bajaj Group companies (the Bajaj Group). The company markets its hair oil under the brand names Brahmi Amla, Amla Shikakai and Jasmine hair oil.

Shares of the company declined Rs 0.65, or 0.18%, to trade at Rs 367.00. The total volume of shares traded was 1,944 at the BSE (11.33 a.m., Wednesday).
