Datamatics Global jumps 6% on Lucknow Metro order

Datamatics Global Services witnessed a sharp rise in share price on Tuesday after a consortium of Datamatics Global Services and Mikroelektronika have won the contract to provide Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system for the North -South corridor (Phase 1A) of the Lucknow Metro Rail Project.

The contract has been awarded to the consortium at approximately Rs 640 million to execute the automated fare collection systems for this prestigious metro project of the government.

Shares of Datamatics Global Services are trading at Rs 54.30, up Rs 3, or 5.85% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 11:33 a.m.

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 55.90 and low of Rs 53.60.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 188.51% to 70,025 compared with 22-day average volume of 24,272.
