Nestle India swung to a loss for the quarter ended June 2015. During the quarter, the company reported a loss of Rs 644.00 million compared with a profit of Rs 2,878.60 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter declined 19.53% to Rs 19,570.10 million, compared with Rs 24,319.70 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 16.49 percent as compared to 17.40 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 3,226.30 million, compared with Rs 4230.6 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share stood negative at Rs 6.68 compared with Rs 29.86 in same quarter last year.
