Novartis India disclosed a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2015. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 2.18 times to Rs 519.40 million from Rs 238.80 million in the same quarter last year.
Revenues for the quarter rose marginally 3.52% to Rs 2,076.40 million, compared with Rs 2,006 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 16.25, registering 2.18 times growth over previous year period.
