Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have reduced shareholding in LIC Housing Finance over the last three months. FIIs' shareholding decreased by 459 basis points to 36.28 percent at the end of March 2015 quarter from 40.87 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
On the other hand, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) shareholding increased by 27 basis points to 6.17 percent at the end of March 2015 quarter from 5.9 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
Non Institutions were holding 16.89 percent stake at the end of March 2015 quarter, up 451 basis points from 12.38 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
Corporate bodies were holding 4.62 percent stake at the end of March 2015 quarter, up 170 basis points from 2.92 percent as on Dec 31, 2014.
Shares of the company gained Rs 7.1, or 1.57%, to trade at Rs 459.60. The total volume of shares traded was 130,067 at the BSE (12.13 p.m., Thursday).
