NMDC has paid first Interim dividend at 300% for the year 2014-15 to the Central Government. Narendra Kothari, chairman-cum-managing director of NMDC handed over the first interim dividend cheque for Rs. 9.51 billion for the year 2014-15 to Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Minister for Steel, in presence of Vishnu Deo Sai, Minister of State for Steel and other officials.

Shares of the NMDC gained Rs 0.75, or 0.55%, to trade at Rs 138.25. The total volume of shares traded was 54,160 at the BSE (9.52 a.m., Wednesday).
