Eicher Motors, one of the leading players in automobile industry, announced total motorcycle sales of 27,542 units in November 2014 as compared to 18,131 units in November 2013, representing a growth of 52%. Models with engine capacity upto 350cc witnessed a 54% growth in sales to 24,610 vehicles compared with 16,017 units in the same month last year.

Meanwhile models with engine capacity exceeding upto 350cc recorded an 39% growth in sales to 2,932 vehicles, compared with 2,114 units in the same month last year.
 
For the period January-November 2014, the company recorded total motorcycle sales of 273,957 units compared to 158,808 units in the corresponding period a year ago, representing a growth of 73%.

Shares of the company gained Rs 73.2, or 0.5%, to trade at Rs 14,590.00. The total volume of shares traded was 1,639 at the BSE (12.44 p.m., Monday).
