Neyveli Lignite Corporation said a small rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 8.06% to Rs 2,593.50 million from Rs 2,400.00 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose marginally 1.42% to Rs 14,024.90 million, compared with Rs 13,828 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.55, registering 8.39% growth over previous year period.
