Sun TV Network disclosed a marginal decline in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 8.68% to Rs 1,544.70 million from Rs 1,691.60 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 9.14% to Rs 5,090.20 million, compared with Rs 4,664 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 3.92, registering 8.62% decline over previous year period.

Shares of the company declined Rs 5.3, or 1.6%, to settle at Rs 325.10. The total volume of shares traded was 31,080 at the BSE (Friday).
