Commodity prices witnessed positive trend last week in India. MCX Comdex was up by 4.58% to 3,490.15; MCX Metal was down by 1.05% to 4,456.50 and MCX Energy was up by 0.75% to 3,569.39 pt.
Bullion contracts witnessed down trend last week. Gold December 14 contract was down by 1.92.% to Rs 26,603 per 10 grams. Silver December 14 contract was down by 3.89% to Rs 36,574 per kg.
Metals contracts showed mixed trend. Copper November 14 contract was up by 0.94% to Rs 416.90 per kg, Nickel October 14 contract was up by 3.72% to Rs 964.50 per kg and Aluminium October 14 contract was up by 2.82% to Rs 125.70 per kg. Lead October 14 contract was down by 1.05% to Rs 122.55 per kg and Zinc October 14 contract was up by 2.46% to Rs 141.60 per kg.
Energy contracts witnessed downtrend. Crude oil November 14 contract was down by 0.18% to Rs 5,017 per BBL while Natural gas November 14 contract was up by 1.90% to Rs 235.70 per MMBTU.
Agri contracts showed uptrend. Cotton October 14 contract was up by 0.37% to Rs 16,220 per bales while CPO October 14 contract was up by 2.43% to Rs 455.10 per 10 kg.
