''Domestic markets ended positive after the government promised to open up the coal sector to private players along with India's decision to remove price controls on diesel and raise natural gas prices,'' it said.
''US markets closed positive in reaction to the latest earnings news and also benefited from the release of a report from the Chinese National Bureau of Statistics showing that GDP growth slowed by less-than-expected in the third quarter,'' it added.
