Crude oil prices closed higher in futures market on Tuesday. Light sweet crude oil (WTI) futures gained 0.10 dollar or 0.12 percent to close at USD 82.81 a barrel at the New York-based commodity exchange NYMEX.
Brent crude oil futures rose 0.82 dollar or 0.96 percent to close at USD 86.22 a barrel at NYMEX. WTI-Brent spread was stable on Oct-2014.
Natural gas futures remained flat at 3.711 a gallon at the NYMEX. RBOB gasoline futures remained flat at 2.213 a gallon at the NYMEX. In refined products, RBOB heating oil futures remained flat at 2.513 a gallon at the NYMEX.
