Jet Airways to further enhance its connectivity to the Gulf, with the introduction of a new direct flight from Kochi to the UAE’s financial hub, Dubai effective Nov. 5, 2014. This is Jet Airways' first direct daily flight from Kochi to Dubai, the international financial, commercial and tourist hub of UAE.

This new service from Kochi to Dubai will complement the currently operated daily direct flights from Kochi to Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Doha, Kuwait (via Abu Dhabi), Muscat and Sharjah.
 
Jet Airways will also launch a second frequency between Mumbai and Doha effective Nov. 5, 2014 as well as a new daily direct flight from Kohzikode and Thiruvananthapuram to Doha effective Dec. 1, 2014.
 
The addition of these new flights across the Gulf will further strengthen the airlines growing international network and significantly enhance flight connectivity in the region.
 
Shares of the company declined Rs 3.5, or 1.58%, to settle at Rs 217.75. The total volume of shares traded was 135,385 at the BSE ( Wednesday).
