Crude oil prices settled lower in futures market on Monday. Light sweet crude oil (WTI) futures lost 0.89 dollar or 0.96 percent to close at USD 91.52 a barrel at the New York-based commodity exchange NYMEX.
Brent crude oil futures fell 1.42 dollar or 1.44 percent to close at USD 96.97 a barrel at NYMEX. WTI-Brent spread was stable on Sep-2014. Natural gas futures remained flat at 3.850 a gallon at the NYMEX.
RBOB gasoline futures remained flat at 2.585 a gallon at the NYMEX. In refined products, RBOB heating oil futures remained flat at 2.687 a gallon at the NYMEX.
