ING Vysya Bank announces leadership changes

ING Vysya Bank today announced leadership changes across operations, IT, retail banking and audit. The bank has appointed Ashok Rao B as chief operating officer, Ambuj Chandna as chief distribution officer, Retail Liabilities,  Sonalee Panda as chief marketing officer, Anantha Raman as chief auditor.

A Meenakshi, head of opperations has decided to pursue opportunities outside the bank and will be leaving effective Nov. 30, 2014. She was instrumental in consolidating operations as a robust and independent delivery platform at IVB.

Commenting on the development, Shailendra Bhandari, MD & CEO, said, ''I am pleased to announce the changes in the leadership team. This is in line with the bank's philosophy to groom internal talent. Keeping in mind our ambitious growth plans, we continue to develop our leadership pipeline with job rotation, stretch assignments and international exposure. I thank Meenakshi and Brett for their invaluable contribution in our journey, and wish the appointees all the very best in their new roles.''

Shares of the bank declined Rs 6.2, or 0.99%, to settle at Rs 622. The total volume of shares traded was 13,029 at the BSE (Friday).
