Bajaj Electricals, a consumer electrical equipments manufacturing company based in Mumbai, announced the engineering & project business unit of the company has bagged 8 new orders worth Rs 5.18 billion for rural electrification work in Jabalpur.

In Jabalpur district from Madhya Pradesh Purva Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company and in Bhopal District from Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Company, under Rajiv Gandhi Gram Vikas Yojana.

Shares of the company declined Rs 1.4, or 0.5%, to settle at Rs 277.30. The total volume of shares traded was 30,950 at the BSE (Friday).
