Ingersoll-Rand (India), a diversified industrial enterprise, shares climbed on Friday after it announced that it will invest Rs 1 billion to upgrade its manufacturing facility in Naroda, near Ahmedabad in Gujarat.

Shares of the company are trading at Rs 766.20, up Rs 72.05, or 10.38% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 3:28 p.m.

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 777 and low of Rs 697.60. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 141,322.
