Om Metals Infraprojects has bagged a contract worth Rs 2.3 billion for hydro power works in joint venture with SPMI Infra from Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam, a wholly owned govt. of Gujarat undertaking, Gujarat.
The order is for design & model study, engineering, manufacture, supply along with spares, transportation to site, storage, erection, testing and commissioning including all civil, mechanical and electrical along with operation and maintenance for 5 years small hydro power projects.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.45, or 5.85%, to trade at Rs 26.25. The total volume of shares traded was 108,387 at the BSE (3.28 p.m., Monday).
