JSW Steel swung to a profit for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the company reported a profit of Rs 8,013.70 million compared with a loss of Rs 2,207.60 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 23.38% to Rs 115,463.30 million, compared with Rs 93,582 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share stood at Rs 32.81 compared with negative Rs 9.47 in the same quarter last year.
