ADC India Communications said a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 3.78 times to Rs 6.80 million from Rs 1.80 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 24.66% to Rs 127.40 million, compared with Rs 102 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.48, registering 3.70 times growth over previous year period.

Shares of the company declined Rs 7.7, or 4.51%, to settle at Rs 163.05. The total volume of shares traded was 727 at the BSE (Monday).
