Praj Industries disclosed a steep drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 22.67% to Rs 23.20 million from Rs 30.00 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 31.67% to Rs 1,628.70 million, compared with Rs 1,237 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 0.13, registering 23.53% decline over previous year period.

Shares of the company declined Rs 1.85, or 2.91%, to settle at Rs 61.65. The total volume of shares traded was 207,218 at the BSE (Monday).
