JSW Energy said a sharp rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 51.90% to Rs 3,254.70 million from Rs 2,142.60 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose marginally 3.49% to Rs 25,583.20 million, compared with Rs 24,720 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.98, registering 51.15% growth over previous year period.
