FIIs cut stake in Bharat Forge in June quarter

Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have reduced shareholding in Bharat Forge. FIIs' shareholding decreased to 13.71% at the end of June 2014 quarter from 16% as on Mar. 31, 2014.

On the other hand, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have raised shareholding in the company to 16.90% at the end of June 2014 quarter from 14.47% as on Mar. 31, 2014.

Under DII, mutual funds / UTI held maximum stake of 12.14%, followed by financial institutions / banks (2.80% stake) and insurance companies (1.96% stake).

Meanwhile, promoter and promoter group shareholding was unchanged at 46.74% at the end of June 2014 quarter.

Shares of the company declined Rs 1.95, or 0.27%, to trade at Rs 713.50. The total volume of shares traded was 89,023 at the BSE (1.36 p.m., Friday).
