India Cements swung to a loss for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the company reported a loss of Rs 305.60 million compared with a profit of Rs 262.80 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter declined 6.20% to Rs 11,246.70 million, compared with Rs 11,990.30 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share stood negative at Rs 0.99 compared with Rs 0.86 in same quarter last year.
