SCI receives refund from FPO

Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) announced that the company has received refund on account of rescindment of shipbuilding contract for Hull No. D-2132, of which Rs 1.05 billion was paid from Follow On Public Offer (FPO) proceed.
The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till May. 22, 2014, falling 2.02% compared with the Sensex's 7.10% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 6.51% as against 17.75% rise in the Sensex.
Shares of the company gained Rs 2.3, or 3.96%, to trade at Rs 60.35. The total volume of shares traded was 518,316 at the BSE (12.37 p.m., Friday).
