UltraTech Cement announced a steady growth in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 15.40% to Rs 8,380.00 million from Rs 7,262.00 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 8.89% to Rs 59,599.90 million, compared with Rs 54,734 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 30.55, registering 15.33% growth over previous year period.
