Indian rupee has weakened on Wednesday against US dollar. Indian currency plunged 0.32 paise or 0.52 percent against dollar to settle at 61.09.
Rupee has witnessed a high of 61.19 and a low of 60.87. Its 52-week range was 68.84-53.66.
The Dollar index, a measure of the value of the US dollar relative to a basket of foreign currencies, gained 0.16 percent to settle at 79.74.
Rupee declined 0.62 paise or 0.74 percent against the Euro to settle at 84.56.
Rupee declined 0.41 paise or 0.40 percent against the UK pound to settle at 102.65.
