The reserve money with RBI rose 8.9% or Rs 1,386.2 billion on a Y-o-Y basis as on Apr. 18, 2014. The reserve money growth was at 7.6% in the same period last year. Total reserve money as on this date was Rs 16,940.4 billion.

The currency in circulation went up 9.7% or Rs 1,189.3billion on a Y-o-Y basis as on Mar. 14, 2014.

Bankers deposit with RBI also rose by 6% or Rs 195.4 billion y-o-y basis. Total bankers deposit with RBI as on this date was Rs 3,470.4 billion.

Also, other deposits with RBI increased by 7.2% or Rs 1.5 billion on a Y-o-Y basis as on Mar. 14, 2014. Total other deposits with RBI as on this date were Rs 22.1 billion.
