Industrial metal futures are trading higher in the Indian markets on Wednesday. Metal index at the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose 25.54 points or 0.54 percent to trade at 4,757.37. (10:48 am)

Copper futures lost Rs 0.15 or 0.04 percent to trade at 410.85 per kg at the MCX. Apr-2014 futures witnessed a high of 411.40 and a low of 410.00 after opening at Rs 410 per kg.

Aluminium futures jumped Rs 0.30 or 0.26 percent to trade at Rs 113.60 per kg. Apr-2014 futures witnessed a high of 113.85 and a low of 113.55 after opening at Rs 113.55 per kg.

Zinc futures went up Rs 0.50 or 0.4 percent to trade at Rs 127.05 per kg. Apr-2014 futures witnessed a high of 127.35 and a low of 126.80 after opening at Rs 127.30 per kg.

Nickel futures rose Rs 10.70 or 0.96 percent to trade at Rs 1,125.80 per kg. Apr-2014 futures witnessed a high of 1,128.40 and a low of 1,116.20 after opening at Rs 1,116.20 per kg.

Lead futures went up Rs 0.55 or 0.42 percent to trade at Rs 131.55 per kg. Apr-2014 futures witnessed a high of 131.80 and a low of 131.20 after opening at Rs 131.20 per kg.
