Domestic gold and silver futures are trading lower in noon trade on Thursday. In India, June 2014 gold futures at the MCX were trading down 0.26% at Rs 28,515 per 10 grams at 12.17 p.m. It opened at Rs 28,550.

May 2014 silver futures at the MCX were trading down 0.40% at Rs 42,245 per 1 kg after hitting high of Rs 42,378. It opened at Rs 42,336.

In global markets, gold futures for May 2014 went down 0.44% at USD 1297.5 per troy ounce at the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. 

However, Comex Silver futures for May 2014 was down 0.56% at USD 19.53 per troy ounce (12.30 p.m.).
