The international crude oil price of Indian basket increased 0.58% to USD 106.52 a barrel (bbl) on Apr. 15, 2014 as against USD 105.91 a bbl on previous trading day of Apr. 14, 2014.

In rupee terms also, the price of Indian basket increased to Rs 6,418.90 a bbl on Apr. 15, 2014 as compared to Rs 6,383.20 a bbl on Apr. 14, 2014. This was due to increase in price in dollar terms and rupee appreciation.

Rupee closed slightly stronger at Rs 60.26 a USD on Apr. 15, 2014 as against Rs 60.27 a USD on Apr. 14, 2014.
