Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in power and infrastructure contracting sector, has secured new orders worth Rs 7 billion.
The company received first order for supply and erection of 765KV D/C Solapur - Aurangabad transmission line of 140 km worth over Rs 3.50 billion from PGCIL.
It bagged second order for supply of transmission towers worth Rs 1.34 billion in Saudi Arabia and Ethiopia. It also bagged various orders in infrastructure division of around 1.88 billion.
Commenting on the announcement, Ranjit Singh, managing director said, ''We continued to expand in international market in African region and also maintained order flow from PGCIL. We also succeeded in getting traction in infrastructure division with a healthy mix of orders."
Shares of the company declined Rs 2.2, or 2.25%, to settle at Rs 95.60. The total volume of shares traded was 114,349 at the BSE (Monday).
